The United Latino Students Association (ULSA) was established in 1990 to promote unity and provide a strong networking channel among Latino-based professional oriented organizations. The United Latino Students Association serves as an umbrella organization for Latino based organizations in universities across the State of California. The immediate purpose of the organization is to actively participate in the development of professional, social, and entrepreneurial skills all while creating a network of opportunities for both undergraduate and graduate students to effectively communicate between CSUs, UCs, and private universities.

The mission of the United Latino Students Association is to strengthen the relationships of professional Latino-based organizations across universities and lead academic, social, and community service efforts for young careerist. The vision is to be part of an ongoing network of students working together to amplify the need for Latinos in the workforce.
